Foundations and SuperstructureBefore plant can be put into place it is necessary to ensure all supporting structures are installed. Often the existing foundations are not suitable due to damage caused by use or damage caused by removal. The old foundations aren't always suitable for the new plant, so replacement is required. MRI London can do all necessary works involving demolition and rebuilding. |

Considerations

Accommodating existing utilitiesPower supplies and drainage are usually at fixed points which MRI London has no control over. When we consider the layout for foundation work we must ensure access to utilities. Power supplies can be routed using cables but drainage is absolutely fixed, so free flow of rainwater is a priority consideration. As with many things the devil is in the detail, we understand the overall picture and how all the various needs and elements must be catered for. |

The Lift

Partial Road ClosureAt Victoria the lift was straight forward. There were no exceptional considerations. The building height and plant weight were all within everyday limits - everyday for MRI London. The road was wide enough to cordon off a section and allow the usual high volume of traffic to pass easily with minimum obstruction.
